If you want to know what’s coming in the world of fashion, textiles, and design, one of your premier sources is going to be Pantone. Not only are they the ultimate authority on color matching, but they also release two Color Reports a year to predict the colors that are going to have the largest influence on the industry.

They release their Spring and Fall Color Reports about six or seven months before the actual season comes around, right around the New York Fashion weeks in February and September.

Since it’s already autumn, you may have been able to see the predictions of Pantone’s Fall Color Report, which came out this past February. Many of this season’s colors are muted or dusky tones, such as Dried Herb, Stormy Weather, or Cashmere Rose. However, there are certainly some bright hues included, like Biscay Bay and Cadmium Orange.

Even though most of us are pretty excited for fall, we can look ahead to the colors that will probably affect spring’s trends, thanks to Pantone’s Spring Color Report. This collection of shades features a solid variety of bold brights and hushed hues that balance each other out. It definitely has a warmer-weather look to it.

Chances are, one of the colors from the Spring Report will be the Pantone Color of the Year for 2016. It’s the shade that Pantone thinks is going to have the biggest influence on the market for trends. This year it’s been Marsala, and the year before we saw Radiant Orchid take the stage.

If you’re looking to get ahead of the game, we have a variety of products in several of the rising shades from the new Color Report. While most of our products come in timeless colors, there’s still a solid selection of bedding and décor in trendier tones. Add a touch of Peach Echo to your living room with this Eastern Accents Boudoir Pillow, or enjoy Snorkel Blue with this Pantone-influenced rug from Oriental Weavers. We even have a match for Limpet Shell with this comforter set from JLA Home. Trust us — trendy doesn’t have to be expensive. Get great deals and keep up with the times when you shop
